Description
The project of heart strives to teach elementary students the history and legacy of Indian Residential Schools. The student participants have contributed by painting small wooden tiles to acknowledge and represent the children who died while attending residential school. The project's goal of collecting 50,000 tiles has been met, and the tiles were transferred to the NCTR in 2015, along with the responsibility to keep the project alive.
