Curatorial Comment
Ambrose Howard was a Nuu-chah-nulth wood carver. Rev. Ed Kempling was chaplain at the Alberni Indian Residential School for two years, and also provided pastoral care and education (mid-week groups) within the Aboriginal communities near Port Alberni.
