Group snapshot of Coqualeetza Institute students at summer camp.
Curatorial Comment
The caption on this photograph appears to be written in Principal George Raley's hand. During the early years of the Institute, there were camping trips to Cultus Lake—one week for the boys and a different week for the girls. In later years, many children attended the school’s camp during their summer holidays, first at Ocean Park, in Surrey, then at Kitsilano Park, in Vancouver, and finally, at White Rock.
